Introduction

Getting There & Around
Ottawa's Macdonald-Cartier International Airport is serviced by 16 airlines on a daily basis. Direct flights arrive from all major Canadian and many American cities such as Newark, New York, Chicago, Detroit and Washington. Connections can also be made via Montreal and Toronto.
Air Canada offers a direct flight from Ottawa to La Guardia Airport in New York City.
The city boasts easy access to rail and bus terminals, located only minutes from downtown, that connect Ottawa to other cities in Canada and the U.S.
Transportation within the city of Ottawa is excellent whether on foot, by bus, bike or less conventional modes of transportation.
